It is thought that the caves were made by the Druids, Romans, Saxons and is now one of the most popular attractions in London. You don’t want to miss out on this.

If you’re a fan of archaeology, then you must visit the Crofton Roman Villa. You get a tour of the villa by an archaeologist and you will get the chance to handle some of the Roman finds that have been discovered there, and you get access to graphic displays of the excavations. There are also activities for children to do so it’s a great day out for the whole family.

Glades is a shopping centre located in the Bromley town centre. It is great if you want to go on a shopping spree or just have a browse. It is home to both major shopping brands and independent labels. It has a great range of restaurants if you fancy a bite to eat in a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Summer holiday preparation top tips!

Summer holiday taxi transfers

It’s April which means the holiday season has well and truly kicked off and there’s an excitement in the air as summer plans finally seem within touching distance.

Every year 45 million Brits flee the UK to sizzle on foreign beaches, with Spain coming out top as the most popular destination.

Holidays can be the ultimate relaxing break, but stress can arise if you’re organisation isn’t on point.

This year airports are expected to be busier than ever, and with Londoners having the luxury of many airports to choose from when jetting off on their vacation, from Heathrow in the North to Gatwick in the South planning your travel arrangements to get to the airport is massively important.

Get prepped for your summer holiday

So, whether you’re counting down the days on your calendar, rushing to the shops to buy your bikini or are preparing your travel documents, we’ve put together our five top tips to help you get summer holiday ready.

  1. Research your destination

Researching your holiday destination is key! Researching enables you to plan ahead fun activities for you and the family to enjoy whilst away. A simple Google can uncover a restaurant that looks amazing, or a day trip that would make your holiday just that little bit more magical.

  1. Make sure your passport is in date

What could be worse than turning up at the airport without your passport, or with an out of date passport?! Save yourself heartache and embarrassment by checking that your passport is in date at least two months before your trip.

  1. Get your holiday money sorted

Whilst the pound is pitiful exchange rates swap around regularly, so if you’re not on the ball the conversion rate of your pounds into euros could bite you in bum! It’s important to get your holiday money in advance too, as the most expensive place to your money converted is the airport, hands down! 1. Take out travel insurance

From lost baggage to food poisoning, whilst abroad, travel insurance is your failsafe back up for when the worst happens. Peace of mind is a glorious thing and when an air ambulance can cost over £20,000 to bring you home it is easy to see how important cover can be.

  1. Book your taxi transfer

Arrange your taxi travel to and from the airport in advance. Set off early on the day to ensure you have plenty of time to check in and grab a pre-holiday pint in the airport or browse duty free. Let your taxi provider know of any special arrangements you need to ensure your journey to the airport gets your holiday off to a spectacular start.
